Dan O’Brien is the author of the autobiographical Buffalo for the Broken Heart. A former cattle rancher and writer he tells a moving story of his redemption on his ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota and his wild idea to return buffalo to the plains.

Trout in the Classroom

One of the great education programs for connecting kids to nature is Trout Unlimited’s Trout in the Classroom program. The program educates K-12 students and teachers about the importance of water quality, aquatic biology, watershed management and stewardship issues.
